The situation

As a class, 19 of us Public Relations students we had a couple of weeks to plan and execute a mock news conference. We announced a (fake) new composting partnership between RRC Polytech and The Forks.

My role

I was the emcee and logistics lead for the event. I wrote speaking notes for myself including a land acknowledgement and organized all digital elements of the conference. I led a small team to design the sides, visuals, and A/V needs for the event.
